How do I get one?

As these credit cards are so exclusive, you have to be invited by your bank to open one. Fees don’t come cheap - the AMEX black card, aka the centurion card, for example, has an annual charge of £650.

In true 007-style, the card is made out of titanium metal, making it one of the most sought-after charge cards out there. Indeed, James Bond uses a black credit card in the latest Bond film Casino Royale, proving that it is the coolest colour plastic to pay with. Other black cards include the Virgin Atlantic AMEX Black Card, with a £115 annual fee, and the NatWest Black card, with a £250 annual fee.
