Setting Description
This elegant setting features six well-matched round diamonds total, three on each side, in a classic channel setting. The channel holds the diamonds securely flush with the top of the setting, and is a great choice for everyday wear, as there are no prongs or sharp edges. The round diamonds are brilliant against the highly polished surface of the metal. In profile, the shoulders of the setting rise up to meet the center diamond in a cathedral style; this design somewhat protects the center diamond and elegantly integrates the diamond and band. The edges of the setting are slightly squared off, and the top of the band has a clean, flat profile. The band measures 1.75 mm thick by 2.5 mm wide and tapers very subtly toward the back for comfort. This setting combines the sparkle of the diamonds with a classic cathedral style for a beautiful complement to the center diamond.

The diamonds in the setting are a minimum of J in color, I1 in clarity. Since the diamonds are in the near-colorless range, they should appear white in the setting. This color should blend well with the color of the center diamond, particularly if the center diamond has a G to J color grade. A center diamond with a D, E, or F color grade may show a slight color difference to the J color diamonds in this setting, but it should not be very noticeable to the casual observer. The I1 clarity grade means that it might be possible to see the internal inclusions in the diamonds with the unaided eye, but it is unlikely that the inclusions would be seen with the diamonds mounted in the setting. The diamonds are well cut, with proportions and polish designed to capture the light and sparkle beautifully in the setting.

This setting is made of platinum, a beautiful and popular precious metal for diamond jewelry. This pure white metal is the ultimate complement to the clear brilliance of diamonds. Platinum is typically 90 to 95% pure platinum, with the remaining percentage being alloys of other platinum group metals such as iridium and ruthenium for surface strength. Platinum does not splinter or wear away easily, making it the most durable choice for everyday wear. It is valued for its extreme rarity and incredible luster. As a precious metal, platinum will naturally patina, or scratch lightly on the surface, but the original bright polished luster can be maintained through an occasional cleaning and polishing.

Overall, the ring is really nice. It looks great. Had no problems with delivery. Still waiting for the return to be credited to my credit card. I'm not happy that the ring sizes do not match with what I received. A jeweler sized my finger and I ordered that size. It was two sizes too big. Because of this Amazon said that could not refund the full shipping cost since it was my mistake. (This occurred after I already received the new size, which is still too big.) I'm a 10.5, should have went for the 9 or 9.5, but I didn't want to go through the hassle. BTW, this will be my wedding band.

I called Customer Service, Amazon stated that all they can do is to email the Jewelry store and the store will get back to me in 3-4 business days. Well, it has been a week and I still haven't received any email.



I returned the rings and have to placed another order and put out another 1K (because we were desperate. Our wedding is the following week!) My husband went 1 size down & I went 1 ½ size down from the original chart. We have to pay $12.00 for 1-2 day rush order.



The new rings come and once again...they were all SCRATCHED up and dull looking.



I am so disappointed in Amazon! You had lost a valuable customer.

Last but not least, try not to judge a platinum card if they require no monthly payment, or they claim lower monthly payments. Believe or not, monthly payments are a good thing. They help you at least slowly pay off your debt, so the higher they are, the better for you. In fact, always try to pay off more than your minimum monthly payment.
